The Rosemary Mountain world began with a murder mystery trilogy. These three books each have their own murder to solve, but also tell a bigger mystery story that carries through the series. They should be read in the following order:
- Secrets in the Cottage
- Murder on the Mountain
- Danger in the Darkness
Next came the Rosemary Mountain Novels, a spin-off romantic suspense series featuring beloved side characters from the trilogy. These are standalone stories that can be read in any order. It’s also not necessary to have read the trilogy to read these, but it’s recommended to start with the trilogy for the best reading experience!
While these can be read in any order, they are best enjoyed chronologically:
- Mountain Shadows
- Mountain Secrets
- Mountain Freedom
Chronologically speaking, Poison in the Tea comes after the Rosemary Mountain Romantic Suspense novels. However, this is a standalone novel. While it would be best enjoyed after getting to know the characters through the other books, it can be read at any time.
With that said, if you love mysteries, start with the trilogy. There will be spoilers for the trilogy in this one simply because of who is still around two years later … and who isn’t.
